‘Duck Dynasty: Revival’ — Is Uncle Si Returning Amid Health Concerns?

Duck Dynasty fans, rejoice! The hit A&E series is back with Duck Dynasty: The Revival, and yes — Uncle Si Robertson is officially returning.

With the reboot premiering just days after the passing of Si’s brother, family patriarch Phil Robertson, viewers had been unsure whether the fan-favorite uncle would be healthy enough to appear. But the good news was confirmed by Korie Robertson and her daughter Sadie Robertson during a January episode of their Whoa That’s Good podcast.

“Is Uncle Si gonna be on the show?” Korie asked, before answering confidently: “Yes, you will see Uncle Si on the show.

She added, “So much has changed. We’ve got a lot to catch people up on.”

The confirmation was a relief to fans, especially after concerns arose last year when a video surfaced on social media showing Uncle Si using an oxygen tank. That clip sparked speculation that his health might prevent him from taking part in the new series. Thankfully, despite those worries, Uncle Si is back and ready to bring his signature humor to the reboot.

Fans flooded social media with excitement after hearing the news:

  • “That’s what I like to hear, Jack!”

  • “Yay!! I’m so glad it is coming back!! Love the whole family!!!”

  • “Ohhh I’m sooooo excited for this!! I have missed them sooo much!!! Welcome back Robertsons!!!”

  • “There’s no Duck Dynasty without you, Si. God bless.”

The revival marks a new chapter for the Robertson family. Phil Robertson, who was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s in 2024, passed away on May 25, 2025 at age 79 and will not appear in the series. Still, the show carries on with a new generation of Robertsons — and plenty of familiar faces.

Willie Robertson first teased the reboot back in December on Fox News, calling it “the next generation of Duck Dynasty.” Since then, anticipation has only grown — and now, with Uncle Si officially back, fans have even more reason to tune in.

Duck Dynasty: The Revival premieres this weekend on A&E. Get ready for more beards, more laughs, and a lot more Robertson family wisdom.
